Ben F. Small has over
thirty years experience as a trial lawyer and legal
officer for Fortune 500 companies. The
Olive Horseshoe
is his second novel, a
suspense thriller spanning three continents: from the streets of New
York City and the wine fields of California to the darkest corners
of Moroccan souks and the rivers raging down from Atlas Mountain
passes; from plush hotels in Marrakech to limestone caves in
medieval Andalucia. Ben's first suspense thriller,
Alibi on Ice, was set high on the treacherous slopes of Mount Ranier.
Both novels are fast-paced, hold-your-breath journeys, where every
step is uncertain and death may be lurking in the shadows.
Ben lives with his
wife and her incredibly frustrating cat in Tucson, Arizona and McFarland, WI.

MARK W. DANIELSON
began
his writing career in 1977, writing non-fiction articles for various
periodicals. While on active duty with the US Navy, he was twice
honored as their top aviation safety author. A former fighter pilot
with both the Air Force and Navy, he is currently an international
airline pilot and a freelance writer for Flight Training
magazine. While non-fiction remains an important focus, his true
passion lies in writing reality-based suspense novels. His first
published novel, Danger Within, is a story of
mayhem within the airline industry. Here, an airplane crashes off
the LA cost, and men begin to die as they fin their way down to
investigate. The Innocent Never Knew finds startling
similarities between the mysterious death surrounding President
Clinton’s Secretary of Commerce, Ron Brown, and a crash in
Albuquerque
that claims a US Senator’s life. In his latest mystery,
Diablo's Shadow, a stalker in Oakland’s Redwood Regional
Park snatches six-year-old Kerri Connifer from her father. But can
her estranged parents put their personal differences aside in time
to find Kerri? All of Mark’s novels are fast-moving and cutting
edge.
When he’s not
traveling the world, Mark lives in
Denver,
Colorado, with his wife. Some of his worldly travels appear on his
